Pinoso is located 45 minutes from Alicante, with its glorious beaches and modern airport.
Pinoso, or El Pinós as it is also known, is a small wealthy town nestled amongst the mountains of the Alicante/Murcia border, some 1500ft above sea level. The area prides itself in its local produce, namely its wine, for which it has won many awards.
Pinoso boasts to being one of the richest towns in Spain and is revered for its magnificent natural beauty containing an abundance of; fruit orchards, vine yards and protected parks, offering an array of walks and cycle tracks in which to explore this wonderful location.
The town itself has been expanded over the years but still maintains its traditonal Spanish feel, something that most visitors come to Spain looking for; allowing you to live amongst the Spanish, rather than just living in Spain.
It boasts a nursery school, 2 junior schools, its own secondary school, a 24hr Medical Centre and an array of fantastic indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, meaning you never have to go far. Bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets are plentiful and the local fiestas always provide a bustle of stalls, music and food stands and are a delight to all those wishing to participate.
Pinoso is an ideal place if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the coast but still have it all within your reach. Rural properties are available to restore and new builds come with over 10,000m² of land, so you never feel like you are on top of each other; as it is important for the Town Council to allow their town to expand, but not to destroy its countryside or its charm. There are many beautiful villages and hamlets around Pinoso, all with fantastic views and all ranging from 2-10 minutes' drive from the town, so there is always plenty of choice in where to locate.
